California State Law requires that minors ages 15 1/2 - 18 take what is known as Driver Education. Driver Education consists of 30 hours of classroom lectures, discussions, and video presentations, or with an Online course. The choice is yours with either option!

Once a student has completed the Driver Education Course, they will receive a Certificate of Completion along with a Certificate of Enrollment into Driver Training (OL237) & (OL392).

Once the student reaches the minimum age of 15 1/2 years and have their parents and/or guardians approval, they may take the DMV written test. After passing the DMV written test, the student will receive their Driving Permit.
